You may use this field to create your own web page, linked to from the user directory.
You may use these simple HTML tags:
a, b, i, u, h1, h2, h3, hr, br, p
If you check the -- Activate Personal Web Page Directory Link -- button, and then update your record, you will be able to preview this page by clicking on the link that becomes active under your username; you can then jump back to the admin page by clicking on the link under your username on your personal web page.
HTML tags are used within the less-than and greater-than signs as brackets around the tags.
This text is a sample HTML page. When displayed inside the edit box on the user adminstration page, the HTML tags are displayed inside of angle brackets. When viewed "live" the HTML is interpreted by the browser.
You may modify it to include your own personal information. For example, to include a hyperlink, replace the "www.adgzone.net" below with your link, and change the text between the link and the bracketed "/a" to whatever you wish: Description of Link
The text "Description of Link" is the text that will appear underlined.
The "p" tag (with brackets) is used to simply start a new paragraph. HTML ingnores whitesace -- these lines will all run together.
br is simply a line break; hr is a horizontal rule (line).
Font characteristics can also be changed:
i is italic
u is underline
b is bold
h1, h2, h3 are all headers
Note these tags have both a beginning and an end tag.
In order to activate your web page, you must check the box in the field above, enter your text or HTML text here, and press the 'Update' button.
This updates your main record and your web page. The directory will now display a - has web page - button next to your entry.
When you are simply updating your web page, you can use the 'Update Web Page' button; This does not modify your user record.
